WHAT IS VAGINAL HIFU?
Vaginal High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) is a non-invasive medical treatment that uses focused ultrasound waves to target the vaginal tissue. It is commonly used for:
Vaginal Tightening: Stimulating collagen production to enhance vaginal elasticity.
Improving Vaginal Dryness: Boosting natural lubrication by increasing blood circulation.
Reducing Urinary Incontinence: Strengthening the vaginal walls and pelvic floor muscles.
Aesthetic Enhancement: Improving the appearance of external vaginal tissue.
HOW VAGINAL HIFU WORKS:
Ultrasound Waves:High-frequency sound waves are directed at specific layers of vaginal tissue.
Thermal Effect: The ultrasound generates heat, which triggers the body’s natural healing process, including collagen and elastin production.
Non-Surgical: No incisions are made, and the treatment is typically painfree.
AFTER CARE FOR VAGINAL HIFU:
Avoid Sexual Activity: Refrain for at least 5-7 days post-treatment to allow healing.
No Tampon Use:Use sanitary pads instead of tampons for at least a week.
Avoid Hot Baths or Swimming: Steer clear for 48 hours to reduce infection risk.
Wear Loose, Cotton Underwear: To prevent irritation.
Stay Hydrated: Maintain good hydration to support healing.
Follow Up: Attend any scheduled follow-up appointments.
